The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) Retail Sustainability Conference will take place in Austin, Texas, from September 15 to 18 at the JW Marriott. Registration for the conference is now open, and members of the Toy Industry Association (TIA) are eligible for the discounted RILA member registration rate.
The conference will connect retailers and brands with service providers for four days of networking and education on evolving consumer behavior and its impact on the retail industry. From flash talks and case studies to impact sessions and topical workshops, event programming will shed light on new paths in sustainability and environmental compliance, and discuss pressing industry issues that will help attendees renew, revitalize, and refocus their sustainability programs, including:
• Issues in federal regulatory requirements related to retail responsibilities when managing environmental compliance
• How to translate energy and sustainability metrics into financial metrics
• Communicating the business value of sustainability to staff
• Creating a compliance program that works for your business
